A part of me is missing,
and the piece I long to find.
A life I've kept on living,
I will try to leave behind.

A part of you is asking,
on what I know you see.
Your eyes are deep and longing,
and I wish that we could be.

You see a part of me,
I didn't know was there.
You reach into my soul,
and warm it with your care.

The dark cloud reaches far,
and gets darker by the day.
but you have shed some light,
and it won't go away.
