rose of blue (chapter two)

The time has now come,
when you must make a choice.
The day is getting close,
that you'll define your voice.

It's not too far from sight,
that you'll be on your own.
As I look at you,
I see how much you've grown.

Leap to what is next,
and what God calls of you.
In his heart he knows,
how much your love is true.

Although it's begun,
we're starting to drift.
I'll think of our times,
my spirits will lift.

Fragile it had seemed,
and was my point of view.
Strength emerged in light,
and now shines crystal blue.

The first stage has passed,
and now chapter two.
The more time goes on I see,
the rose that lives in you.
