(the rose wins again)
It's been a long time,
we've been through some stuff.
Sometimes it was hard,
sometimes it was rough.
I wanted to quit,
and you to let go.
But you beleived in me,
and you let me know.
That it's not so bad,
and God's always there.
You're here for me too,
and you'll always care.
Now all that I can do,
is write this to my friend.
You helped me to remember,
the rose has won again.
One day I'll return,
All the hope you've brought to me.
You've done more than words can say,
I thank you now, Tracy.
